Programs for Kids Nursery: We have a cheerful Nursery room on the 2nd floor. The room is available for any parents with restless babies or toddlers to use at any time during the service. The room is equipped with a crib, rocking chair, change table and toys. Sunday School: Children worship in the sanctuary until after the Children's Story. They then meet to study the day's lesson followed by play, craft, game, computer or drama sessions. Children open the service lighting the Christ Candle.
The Senior Sunday School Class made muffins and held a coffee and muffins coffee hour following the church service on Sunday, December 19. Proceeds went to buying 8 gifts for the Children's Aid Society Angel Tree. Members of the Sunday School are shown with the gifts.
Youth: Grades seven and over meet one Friday a month to take part in the life of the church such as ushering, manning the sound board, scripture reading, helping in the nursery or Sunday School etc. A communicants class is offered as appropriate. Explorers: Girls in grades 4-6 meet weekly to share in a wide variety of activities and to work towards star badges.Two traditions are to take part in the CGIT Christmas service and to take a day trip at the end of the year to a place like Canada's Wonderland. Group currently meeting at Division Street United Church. CGIT (Canadian Girls in Training): Girls grade 7- 12 meet at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church.
